An enchanting and rare early Georgian period mahogany 'tricorn' table. (c. 1730 English.)
This is a charming gem of Georgian furniture at its best, even eccentric in its simplicity. The tight grained mahogany that has just been waxed over the years resonates a rich mellow colour, while the triangular moulded edge top over three turned legs joined by a swept curved stretcher is just timeless. |
