A George III period mahogany pie-crust top tripod table. (1765 English)

An unusual mid 18th century mahogany tripod table with a carved edge 'pie-crust' top over a turned stem with gadrooned carving on carved cabriole legs with shells on the knee, terminating in claw and ball feet. The form of turning to the stem and incised carving to the legs, together with a mahogany block could suggest a Lancashire provenance.
