18th Century Walnut Cabriole Leg Side Chair (c. 1725 England)

A rare early 18th century walnut cabriole leg side chair, or more accurately called a back-stool; with a fully upholstered arched back, over a drop in seat with moulded edge fascia rails, all on cabriole legs, the back ones having a wonderful exaggerated rake.

Lovely colour and patina. Recently reupholstered in the tightest conservation manner. Currently covered in natural linen,awaiting client’s choice of fabric.

Seat width at front 22”, to 18” at the back.
